Conventional shower pumps are designed to be used were water is stored in tanks and can flow under gravity into the pump. Negative head shower water pumps are used when water is not gravity fed, and the water outlet or shower head is either level with or above the level of the water storage tank.
Twin impeller shower pumps can pump two water supplies, usually one hot water supply and one cold water supply. Single impeller shower pumps are only able to pump one water supply, either hot water or cold water.
